"Inner Spaces"
Photographic research on the white color.
White is quite important in the photographic
medium,as the color of the light, the base of every
photograph. The motives researched in this
collection are the clothes, as a representation of
an intimate space, a shell built by every person,
but also a kind of barrier between the world and who
we really are.
Clothes as something that we want to say, as an
expression. But who is hidden in this clothes is
something that we are not allowed to know. The same
is for the interiors. Houses, homes. Living places,
or just passing by places?
My intention was to reduce completely the trace of
any personality in this places, and make them
aseptic,the opposite of what they are meant to be.
SABINA DAMIANI - Born in 1985 in Kopar, Slovenia. In
2008 graduated Visual arts and comunication -
Pedagogy of the arts, at the Accademia di Belle Arti
di Venezia. Currently doing the MA in Photography at
the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan.
Member of the Croatian Artists Union from Zagreb
(HDLU Zagreb), and of the HDLU of Istra.Member of
the Photo club "Mrak" from Buje, Croatia, from 2006.
Member of the organisation comitee of the
"Kulturama", multimedial festival of young
artists,curating the visual arts section. Working
with photography, painting and printmaking.

From 16th to 21st March a series of activities in
celebration of Spring Equinox will take place
downstairs in the Foundry. Alongside still image
displays and invocation of St Agnes Well, expect
film, poetry and music.
Spring Equinox is the space within the spiral
through which the momentary APPEARANCE OF BALANCE
between sunlight and darkness gives way once more to
the OVERT WILDNESS of growth and renewal. It is a
time to be conscious that what's past is prologue,
that the seasons are as transient as ourselves, and
that the best - if we prove up to it - is yet to
come. Anticipate the unexpected to arise
from...............
