SAVAGE MESSIAH 5 ZINE LAUNCH
Issue 5 is a schizoid stroll through the industrial
estates of North Acton and Park Royal, the Warwick
estate , Paddington basin, Camden boozers, Kings Cross
backstreets, Haggerston highrises and a riot torn isle
of Dogs.
"You remember that afternoon in the Foundry, September,
warm rain, schizoid weather, everyone locked in for the
afternoon. And we were in that corner, faces magenta in
the neon. Saturday, no one giving a fuck about anything
but getting wrecked, one of those mad afternoon
sessions where everyone's running round the boozer like
it's your own private party, threshold between thinking
and acting dissolved in the mayhem. On the pints,
looking hectically better with each one, some kid
playing Cabaret Voltaire records, scratchy and
distorted, boot sale treasure, voices resurrected from
an attic burial. Rain eases off, soft vapour rises from
the streets, a battered transit, 2000 DS graffitied on
the side ,skids off Old street roundabout and onto the
pavement in front of the pub. A crew of anarcho
deviants bundle out the back. Straight over to the
decks, post punk kid thrown back into the crowd as they
commandeer with an unholy clash of Flux of Pink Indians
and demented clown tech. Our neon corner is colonised
by the crew, who have the military fatigues and shaven
heads of Spiral Tribe. This lot are hardcore, not
middle class students mouthing gap year politics. You
know any of that crew?
Where you lot from?
North Acton."
Come down for the latest installment of cheap thrills
and ultra violence.

ENGLAND'S LOST SHIRTS
Hello there shirt painters,
England's less than exciting progress through the world
cup competition came to an end last week with a defeat
by portugal. The colours offered by the teams they had
played against offer pretty much the full range except
for purple, pink and the pastel or darker tones of the
primaries. The exhibition of the finished shirts will
take place at the Foundry on Old St. on Weds 19th and
Thurs 20th of July.
On the Thursday evening there will be a fashion show
(with proper cat-walk etc)in the main gallery space,
with live music. The shirts will be modelled by a bevvy
of delightful, hand-picked cross-dressers and will be
auctioned one at a time.
There will be an accompanying catalogue detailing each
lot and the money raised will be used to host an
unusual party (in August) for everone attending the
auction. The large part of the money raised will be
spent on hiring the most unusual act that we can
find/afford to perform at the party.
Please put the auction date in your diaries and feel
free to invite friends and fellow lovers of pretty
shirts.
If your shirt is finished please let me have it by the
17th July. \we could meet or you could post it to me at
18c Digby Crescent. London N4 2ND.

'FATALITIES EXHIBITION' - ESPIRA
' The glamorous and the horrible have always been
unusual lovers throughout history. From finely tailored
uniforms on a battlefield, to catwalk models bingeing
on alcohol and kebabs. London based artist Espira
brings the unlikely marriage of these themes to life
with his unforgiving and often controversial computer
made art.'
